How large are your groups?

We intentionally keep groups very small to only impact the local community in a positive way. Most excursions are private (e.g. just you and yours) with some offered also as semi-private (up to 6 people), as indicated in the description of the excursions.

How physically challenging are your excursions?

You don’t need to be an elite athlete to participate in any one of the excursions, but please gauge your own ability and interest before embarking on an excursion. If, for example it’s a walking tour, be prepared to walk across uneven terrain, at a reasonable pace for a couple of hours.

Are your excursions accessible for persons with physical and/or mental disabilities?

We try to make our tours accessible, however, some locations may be challenging for persons using wheelchairs or other assistive devices.

Can I bring my children?

Some experiences are better suited for children than others and we will work with you to find, or tailor an experience to make sure everyone is safe and having a good time.

What do I wear?

Weather in New England is fickle so it’s always good to be prepared for a change in temperatures and precipitation. With this in mind, please dress for the activity - in most cases this means at a minimum, sensible walking shoes.

What do I bring?

Bring what you anticipate that you might need. This could include a water bottle, a snack, sunscreen, hand warmers, tissues, a phone/camera and an extra layer of clothing (see above note on weather in New England).

What if the weather is awful?

Please dress accordingly. Eva’s mother always said “There is no such thing as bad weather - just in adequate clothing.”

Do you run excursions in languages other than English?

At this time, all excursions are in English or Swedish (!), however, some translation for Spanish speakers can be done as needed.

Is a tip included? If not, is it expected?

All costs are included in the price of your excursion, however, tipping for excellent service is very common in this part of the world, and as a token for a job well done, always appreciated!

How soon do I have to book?

We are a small organization and operate on a first come-first serve basis, so the sooner, the better!

Is there a Cancellation policy?

We will refund your payment in full up to 48 hours in advance of your booking. Cancellations within 48 hours of excursion will not be refunded.

In rare cases, we will have to cancel excursions due to unforeseen circumstances. In this case, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a full refund.
