Marblehead to newburyport:

The other cape

After living in various places around the world, I dropped my anchor in Cape Ann. Located thirty minutes north of Boston, 'The Other Cape' juts out from the east coast of the U.S. into the Atlantic Ocean.

Less crowded and more authentic than Cape Cod, Cape Ann is rugged and gritty like the granite quarries of Rockport, but also soft and beautiful like rolling sand dunes illuminated golden by a setting sun. It is full of artists and artisans, from world class boat builders and sculptors to passionate chocolatiers and hardy fishermen.

This diverse place I call home offers four distinct seasons, sandy beaches and rocky shores; it contains the largest saltwater marsh in New England where migrating birds and clams live off the rich biodiversity; a healthy culinary scene, micro breweries and vineyards, and just so many other sweet spots - which is why you can find me here. Let me show you around on your next visit!
